Quasiadditivity of Capacity and Minimal Thinness

It is well known that a capacity C is countably subadditive, i.e. We shall prove that the reverse inequality, up to a multiplicative constant, holds for some decomposition of E , provided there is a measure comparable to C. Such a property will be referred to as quasiadditivity. As an application, we shall show that the Green energy for a uniformly-regular domain is quasiadditive with respect t...

On the Iterated Green Functions on a Bounded Domain and Their Related Kato Class of Potentials

We use the results of Zhang [15, 16] and Davies [7] on the behavior of the heat kernel p(t, x, y) on a bounded C domain D to find again the result of Grunau-Sweers [9] concerning the estimates of the iterated Greens functions Gm,n(D). Next, we use these estimates to characterize, by means of p(t, x, y), the Kato class Km,n(D) and we give new examples of functions belonging to this class.

On the thinness and proper thinness of a graph

Graphs with bounded thinness were defined in 2007 as a generalization of interval graphs. In this paper we introduce the concept of proper thinness, such that graphs with bounded proper thinness generalize proper interval graphs. We study the complexity of problems related to the computation of these parameters, describe the behavior of the thinness and proper thinness under three graph operati...

Minimal Thinness with Respect to Symmetric Lévy Processes

Minimal thinness is a notion that describes the smallness of a set at a boundary point. In this paper, we provide tests for minimal thinness at finite and infinite minimal Martin boundary points for a large class of purely discontinuous symmetric Lévy processes.

Minimal thinness with respect to subordinate killed Brownian motions

Minimal thinness is a notion that describes the smallness of a set at a boundary point. In this paper, we provide tests for minimal thinness for a large class of subordinate killed Brownian motions in bounded C domains, C domains with compact complements and domains above graphs of bounded C functions.
